Pengaruh Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Kepemimpinan Transformasional dan Kepuasan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the relationship between employee performance at the
Yogyakarta City Education, Youth, and Sports Office with job satisfaction, transformational
leadership, and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). This study used an accidental
sampling method, with offline questionnaire distribution to employees who were willing to
participate. To determine the sample size, the Slovin formula was used which resulted in a
sample requirement of 104 respondents from a total population of 140 employees. The
collected data were analyzed using SPSS software to test the relationship and influence of
independent variables on employee performance as the dependent variable. The results
showed that transformational leadership had a negligible effect on employee performance,
so the direct role of this leadership style was less significant in improving performance. In
contrast, job satisfaction had a significant and positive impact on improving employee
performance, indicating that psychological well-being, job comfort, and job satisfaction were
important factors. In addition, organizational citizenship behavior or OCB has also been
shown to significantly improve employee performance. OCB, which reflects employees'
voluntary actions to help coworkers or support organizational goals, plays a strategic role in
creating a productive, conducive, harmonious, and sustainable work environment. Based on
these results, it is recommended that organizations prioritize programs and policies that can
improve employee job satisfaction and encourage organizational citizenship behavior. This
step is considered effective in optimizing the potential performance of human resources in
the Yogyakarta City Education, Youth, and Sports Office. This study contributes to academic
understanding of important factors that influence employee performance in the public sector,
as well as being a practical guide for organizations to improve employee performance
sustainably and consistently.
