The writing of this article aims to assess the local or regional cultural values that can improve the quality of schools. Researchers are key instruments in gathering data by attending to the field. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach by observing, interviewing and documenting. The data analysis technique of this study used the Miles and Huberman models by reducing, presenting, and verifying the data found. The results of the research found in the field are: planning carried out to improve the quality of education through the development of local culture is by setting goals and analyzing the potential of the area so that it can determine the program to be implemented, namely Lampa Gentlemen in the form of pangereng panganteng and enrichment of regional languages. The organizing stage includes the selection of human resources, namely regional language teachers and infrastructure that supports the program, the Madura language laboratory.
