KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM PEMBUATAN KEPUTUSAN

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of principal leadership in decision making, the process of decision-making by the principal, as well as factors that support the role of principal leadership in decision making. This research uses qualitative approach. Sources of data used in this study are principals, teachers and personnel kependidiikan. Data analysis used in this research through data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of this research are (a) role of principals in role of decision process that is role of regulatife, democratic, and persuasive; (b) the decision-making process conducted by the principal of the workshop, identifying problems, alternative problem solving, determining the alternatives chosen and decision making; (c) factors that support the principal’s leadership in decision- making ie all parties are open to the problems facing the school and provide freedom of opinion in decision-making.
