Abstract

Abstract: the purpose of this study is so that students can build their own knowledge, be critical, seek clarity, and make that knowledge meaningful. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an increase in Civic Education (PKn) learning achievement through Cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray class V students of SD Negeri Brumbun, Wungu District, Madiun in the academic year 2017/2018. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, with a type of action research. In this study researchers collaborated with other teachers. Referring to the action hypothesis proposed in this class action research was obtained in the first cycle the results of the average learning achievement was 70.91 (66.67%), in the second cycle experienced an increase of 86.06 (93.94%), then it can be concluded that: there is an increase in Civic Education (PKn) learning achievement through cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray class V students of SD Negeri Brumbun, Wungu District, Madiun in the academic year 2017/2018.
