Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Canva-based worksheets in improving learning interest among early childhood students aged 5–6 years at KB Nurul Istiqomah, Hulu Gurung District. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest model. The participants consisted of six children selected through purposive sampling. Learning interest was measured using four indicators: enjoyment, attention, interest, and engagement, assessed through an observation sheet with a three-point scale. The results showed a significant increase in children's learning interest after the intervention. The mean pretest score was 5.17, which increased to 9.00 in the posttest. The paired sample t-test indicated a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), confirming a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. These findings suggest that Canva-based worksheets are effective in enhancing learning interest among early childhood learners. The visual and interactive features of Canva contribute to increased engagement and active participation during learning activities.

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas lembar kerja anak berbasis Canva dalam meningkatkan minat belajar anak usia 5–6 tahun di KB Nurul Istiqomah Kecamatan Hulu Gurung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen tipe one-group pretest–posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah enam anak yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Minat belajar diukur melalui empat indikator, yaitu perasaan senang, ketertarikan, perhatian, dan keterlibatan, menggunakan lembar observasi dengan skala tiga tingkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat belajar yang signifikan setelah pemberian perlakuan. Nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 5,17 meningkat menjadi 9,00 pada posttest. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara skor sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa lembar kerja berbasis Canva efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar anak usia dini. Fitur visual dan interaktif dalam Canva mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan serta partisipasi aktif anak selama proses pembelajaran.
