Komersialisasi Program Bahasa Arab dan Implikasinya bagi Mutu Pembelajaran: Studi Sosiologis pada Lembaga Kursus di Kota Besar Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena komersialisasi program bahasa Arab dan implikasinya terhadap mutu pembelajaran di lembaga kursus di kota besar Indonesia. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan tiga lembaga kursus di Jakarta dan Surabaya dengan 18 partisipan yang terdiri dari pengelola, pengajar, dan peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian mengungkap tiga tema utama: (1) komodifikasi religiositas dalam strategi pemasaran, (2) institusionalisasi mutu sebagai legitimasi pasar, dan (3) pergeseran makna pembelajaran dari ibadah menuju investasi sosial. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa lembaga kursus berperan sebagai agen konversi antara nilai religius dan modal ekonomi. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada perlunya keseimbangan antara orientasi bisnis dan nilai-nilai pedagogis dalam pendidikan bahasa Arab nonformal.References
